I put my truck into the ditch once already this year because of it. Same kind of situation too. Thankfully I put it in backwards and no damage was done.

 

@koditten I haven't tied a single fly this winter . Haha I'm so behind

 

Me neither, but again, I don't tie flies. I've recovered more flies that I can use in a lifetime.

Hopefully getting those things out of the trees has saved a few bats or birds.

 

Speaking of learning new lures and what not , I'm going to try and get out this month to try and improve my nymph skill

 

Yeah ugly things tend to stare.

 

Not even gonna ask about the sesame street shit.

Same. Luckily for me the night shift comes with zero people on it but me.

 

I'm really torn between a lighter weight bumper that I'll mainly use to replace the stock bumper so it won't snap off + winching or getting a $1,200 Pheasant deflector.

I really needed to pheasant proof my rig. It was priority one.

In other but unrelated news:

I am still extracting pheasant feathers from the engine bay. They are pretty much under every plastic piece in the thing.

 

I guess. It is the more realistic bumper considering I won't be hitting any rhinos on the road

 

I still find Turkey feathers from the one I hit last year.

 

Actually tonight the same thing happened with Mike. I powered down the headset transmitter and plugged it back in and I could hear him.
