If mine is done before yours and @Casper66 stuff I can hold off a bit to make it work. I am off every other weekend and will want a nice weather weekend to make the trip worthwhile as I will be hitting up Skydive Carolina while down there.

Sounds good! I appreciate it and I'll let you know... and, of course, beers in June when I am back!

    Morning girl scouts.

I'm on that list too, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Something about that plastic pop-n-lock mechanism firing every time I unlock the truck has me hesitating.

Damn...that type of rack just made it on my list of contenders! Wonder why he is selling so cheap?

No clue but I personally think those racks are the best available...they are just seriously expensive. I'd pick that one up but then I'd have to redo my whole bed to get things to fit .

Are the components in your door locks all metal? And can’t you set your doors to only unlock the drivers door and wire it to the passenger doors so it would not actuate as often?

I'm considering driving west this weekend if it is still available. Wonder if it is only on the FB page...

I think the wire loom is for the passenger side, but I unlock all my doors most of the time anyway because I put my backpack for work behind my seat. As far as the components in the doors go, I have no idea and they could also be plastic...I'm just being a cheap-assed and overly-concerned consumer. Plus, I fairly certain I read some reviews of the pop-n-lock mechanism failing relatively easily.

I think your fear is reasonable. There are a lot of reports of some mechanism in the pop and lock failing, and causing the handle to not open the tailgate. Makes for a hell of a time i.e. cutting the inner tailgate skin to undo the handle from the inside. Unless you're a genius male model like @Superman910 who ran some paracord from the inner handle so he has a fail safe in the event that plastic piece breaks.

    A thing or two...
You could always wire it into a dash button instead of the door locks.

I just fucked with a car SO PERFECTLY in the overflow parking lot at work. Keep in mind there’s an overflow to the overflow, so not the end of the world.

I’m walking to my car, and they creepily follow behind me, trying to vulture my spot. I’m walking up the aisle, like 30’ away from my car so I cut through to the next aisle over.

They speed down, to get over there, but right as they round the corner I duck back into the other aisle. Hop in my car and they have no idea where the fuck I went.

I'm stubborn and I don't forget things easily. A year from now you'll still need to check if you have it.
