    go for it, i took a life time supply of desktop background while i was on that trip. i'll never have time to use them all:p

    it wasn't that bad. i just made sure to bring my small camera bag instead of the big one to save space. and i brought the smaller tripod. it just depends on how much your pack to weigh.....but it's totally worth it. and both our guides brought up DSLRS, so they also think it's a good idea

    the only lens i have is the crappy 18-55. but i wish i had a wide angle to get the skyline better.

    but i did find out that if i put a UV filter and a daylight filter, they would stick out enough to be visible in the picture. it causes them to create a vignette when the lens is zoomed out. thats why it looks like i touched up some of the photos.....but they're all natural
