    Super easy for some, but I'm having issues :)
    I tried to remove the stock ECT switch by gently prying it off with a panel removal tool, and it seems only the face of the switch came off (see photo - I think this might now be broken). Please explain how to unplug the ECT a little more.

    How do you pop the console up? In the process of installing mind right now. Are there tabs/bolts that need to be removed?

    1)HOW TO POP ECT BUTTON OUT:
    Use this guide to just remove the button.(we are not installing ect mod box)
    STOP at 30 seconds in video

    2) Unscrew stock knob, Pop shifter plastic surround off. (pulls straight up)

    3) Take NEW grey connector from STEALTH KNOB and fish UNDER Wireless charger are and up to where OEM ECT button is. Plug into stock harness. Set ECT button aside.

    4)route new extension UP though shift boot. REINSTALL shifter surround plastic.

    5) Screw new stealth knob on, connect small 2 pin white harness, slip boot back up.

    Done

    Car stereo installer for a decade.. it just comes second nature.
    We use to have timed blind folded door panel removal races in the shop.
    Just don't tell the customers:cookiemonster:

    I didn't know that control panel came off so easily. I just popped my HU and reached down. This is even easier to fish the wire:frusty:.
