How are you guys fishing the wire under the charging mat and getting at it behind the panels? There's very little space back there. Is there a possibility that this has changed on the 19s and it's more difficult to access?

Just finished mine up. Getting the wire fed down was the biggest challenge for me. Just take your time and work it down. I had to feel around from underneath to get an idea of where to feed the wire down. Start from the top down to the bottom.

Yes, just need patience and little hands. Another option is to drop a stiff wire from the top down. Tape the connector on the end and pull/fish back up. This is probably the hardest part of the install(which isn't that hard IMO)

Don't worry about these guys, @mesojdm. They shouldn't judge you by how long you play with your knob.

15 minutes. Had to use some small twine to fish the connector through the hole in the shifter. I found the rear hole to be easier.

Lesson learned: make sure to go UNDER the small bracket beneath the cup holder and not over.

Just got home and was able to check out my new shift knob. @mesojdm man, I have a bunch of your stuff, and I gotta say your shit is so well executed. The action on the button is amazing and so clean. I am definitely going to fuck my truck up switching back and forth in and out of ECT fidgeting the new button. I'm pretty much a permanent in on anything you drum up. Well done my man.

This post was in no way intended to sound sexual.

Interesting! I always thought that the rear hole was more difficult to get to, but what do I know, I've only been married for 20 years :D

Am I the only one that gets bothered by the fact that the chrome piece on the shift boot does not match up to the same dimensions/line up with the shift knob?

    Complete knobs were $200.

I am working on some DIY kits right now. Stage 1(single button) and Stage 2(dual button)

Should have them ready next week:)
