Purchased a 3rd gen from a member of this forum who had a steel bumper without the parking sensors installed. The stock bumper is back on the truck but the harness was modified for a license plate light in the steel bumper. Can anyone point me to the harness part number and maybe a wiring diagram so I can get it back to stock? I'd like to be able to use my blind spot monitors. Pictures of the harness are below.

It looks like there are several different part numbers for the "No. 3 Frame Wire Harness". Probably depending on options the truck came with.

Here's a TSB that may help:

Thanks for this! It appears there are separate sensors for blind spot monitors and ultrasonic sensors... I thought they might use the same sensors.

Mine has the sensors (I haven't physically checked yet) so I don't think I need them. From what I'm told and from what I can see it's just the harness that need replacing.

This has your part number on it. Clean it off and check. If it's the old part, use the TSB to figure out which new part number you need.

I did not unfortunately. One of the replies to this thread lead me to the wiring diagrams and once I opened those up I did not go any further due to time. I imagine you could check that with what is on the truck and find the missing piece that way.

There are 4 different wire harnesses depending on how your vehicle is equipped. I would need your VIN to determine the correct part number.

    This is my VIN: 3TMCZ5ANXHM044560

My parking sensors and blind spot sensors don't work if that means anything.

    Thank you for the help!

For both VINs the Toyota part number is 82169-04031.

Without doing a bunch of research I won't be able to tell what make each part number different. There should not be different configurations though because these are just the wire harnesses for the BSM and parking sensors.

Hello guys nice to meet you, I just got a 2018 tacoma and I´m working on it, it looks like somebody stole the blind spot sensor and also they cut the wires as they could, I ordered all the pieces that I think that I need (Toyota dealership didn´t help very well) but now it looks like I will have to connect the right wires colors in the existing wire harness, but I don't want be guessing please if somebody can give me an advise that will be great thank you

That is just the Right Hand Sensor wires. Connector wire numbers are from the terminal side, NOT the wire side.
