LOL, I had to wait 2 months just to get a 19 WITHOUT a desert air thing and live in MD. The dealer by me has had a black/white and a blue one on the lot for at least 3-4mo now and the funny shit is they didn't even discount them.

Yep, I had a rant about this in another thread. The snorkel is absolutely pointless, anyway from a lot of posts I read PRO owners are not welcome. I assume it’s because I wasted my money on a truck I wanted and happy with...guess I should have bought an Off road so I could be a sheep and fit in.:jerkoff:

This we call Hating... and when they say they're not hating, yet find the need to provide you with info about your Pro that you weren't asking for... well that's just flat out being an asshole imo.

Your DCSB configuration makes you a sheep of a different herd.

As an add to above, it’s a shame the old ways are gone of being able to option out vehicles the exact way you want. I typically like the odd combinations of things...

That's what I really like about the Ranger. Even the XL can have the FX4 package and a bunch of other options.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I’m loving the hate on these things. The more it’s hated the more I like it. Someone needs to buy that black one. Regrettably, it ain’t going to be me

I went by a dealer this afternoon on the way home to see what they might have around...I didn’t see any Tacoma Pros but the T4R Pro in the bright blue is sharp looking! ~$48k sticker...

I'm here in Massachusetts, and these have sat on the lots for awhile now. They look really nice, but don't all of them??

Anyhow, they don't move. IDK how much more $$ they are, and what you get for that "PRO", but just the snorkel alone made me laugh; Who is really gonna use that??

I noticed the inlet is pointed forwards. Is that so the tire doesn't spin water up and into the snorkel inlet??

I thought o myself that it should point to the rear, but.... What do I know, lol

    Think about it....

There are no DCLB and Access cab configurations available in the Pro trim, only the DCSB, the most popular cab configuration available in all trims.

How can Toyota get more out of the most popular cab? They went after the fattest sheep in the biggest herd.

    :crapstorm:

All joking aside, If the Pro was available in a longbed, Quicksand paint, hood scoop delete and no sunroof, I'd probably be driving one.

    Only without a snorkel.

Got a 2019 pro for like 3g's less than the 2 18's they have right now on the lot and I would've been willing to get the 18 but they wouldn't budge. I don't get it.

Toyota has done a few shitty things, the snorkel being the least shitty of them. I mean... at least it functions. Pricing, trim levels, the short end of the stick that the sport got, the “pro”... this time around, while I think the truck itself is great, Toyota be actin all scandalous.

In 15-20 years, people will be hunting high and low for a Tacoma TRD pro with the snorkel in good condition to mod as an offroad vehicle.

    That's my guess anyway.

Those snorkels are butt ugly. All posers in the city just like shiny wheels, 4in lifts , chrome coatings on a 4x4 truck. All posers. Probably never ran over mud in its entire life.
The wife saw a Range Rover with a snorkel. She couldn't stop laughing . "Ho dude...where you going ? Safari?"
