What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Its been on my short list of mods for a while. I'm only concerned about some of the people who have said their windshield cracked from having something like that...

 

“Something like that” is the key point. The imitators added RAM balls and other fix points to theirs to spice it up and they caused the failure. I bought mine when it was the first gen and he sent me the second gen model at no cost. About then the copycats turned up and windshields started busting.

If you buy it and hate it, I’ll buy it off of you.

 

Good to know, haha, I'll probably order it soon, like I said, its been on my list for a while now.

 

So far... It looks the same as it has since I bought the truck . It needs replaced because it’s ugly (but 100% functional) as you can see in the pic. The coating is peeling, but no more after installing the EZ down and tweaking the cable.

It took a ton of tweaking to finally get the cable to sit tight and not bind. But if you bend the eyelets like I did, it helps a ton

 

I plan to have the picture that you sent handy so I can use it as a template.

 

I'm 6'4" 250lbs and have no problems with the seat as it is from the factory. I also drive about 25000 miles a year. So a good bit of seat time. Like was said though, "every body is different" and maybe I'm just used to ducking!

Installed some Projection headlights

 

Built a frame cross bar to mount limit straps to. That’ll get burned in Friday when the adjustable clevis mounts arrive.

Lots of threads on here about it. Pretty much just need some headlights, and what ever retrofit you want. A lot of people do the morimoto d2s, but I'm doing a mini h1 for cost reasons. i might be building my other lair of headlights up to sell.

 

I will! I just painted the amber corner reflector and the turn signal plastic piece in night shade by VHT so its black looking and will still let enough light through. Shouldnt be a problem with my LED turn signals
