    I think it should be differentiated between a return and returning a defective item. If the adhesives are truly defective then you clearly cannot determine that without installation/use and the seller must make the buyer whole with a replacement or refund (up to the seller). That said, it doesn't appear OP requested a replacement but at the same time, the language of the response doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy that TB would have obliged. That response alone is enough to make me never even consider buying from them.

    edit: just realized you said effectively this on the second page but I'll leave it.

    Tacomabeast doesn’t have anyone available to take phone calls or live chat via their website and they don’t respond in a timely manner via email correspondence. It took them two weeks to get back to me with any answer. I opened a dispute case via PayPal for a refund minus 15% restock fee . I purchased their products because they looked to be better quality than Amazon/eBay but I was incorrect.

    Paypal should be able to help. You should not have to pay 15% restocking fee for a
    shitty product. That should only be charged if you're returning a good/working product
    that you've decided you no longer want.

    Go with @rrentrop products (https://tvdvinyldecals.com). I've had the door sill and glove box inlays for a year, in Houston 90+% humidity and no problems. I recently installed the interior chrome delete vinyls without any issues too (a month or so now). I don't think he has the foam inserts, but the decals he has plenty.

    Sounds like pretty crappy response from TB. Even if TB don't accept the return, you can have your CC force the return if within a certain time frame. This of course would require some sort of documentation that it's a defective product from TB. Hope this helps, at least for next time.

    Customer satisfaction being #1 only works if you sell a decent product...crap like TB sells can’t all be returned or they’d never make money. It’s a numbers game. Hope they sell more than gets returned. Not a sustainable business model which is a precursor ito them not being around for years to come.

    I thought about the restocking fee, usually that’s for large items that require a lot of work to put back on the shelf. Absolutely ridiculous to charge that for some little foam doodads. Screw that company.
