JBAs! Though I had to get 1" BORA spacers to clear them with 4Runner Pro wheels.

Bumping this thread. What. are my options for UCA? Would like something fix as I've read horror stories on Spc and alignment techs not knowing how to set them. I'm set on JBA, but Marlin said I would have 1/4" clearance at full cut with 285/75r16. The wheel is a LEVEL 8 MK6 -10mm offset. Would like to stay ball joint style. Thanks

I think you should be good with the -10 offset. Whats the backspacing on your wheels?

I haven't had any issues with spc's. I think people are overthinking it/ internet's group thinking. You set them to like"D" I think, pull the ball joint all the way out to get close to 0 camber and just have the techs align normally (but to recommend specs for a lifted truck not stock geometry). Pretty easy....

I can confirm that JBAs with 285s on the TRD bead locks with not rub unless at max turn. With a .75 and up wheel spacer you will clear the UCA no problem. 03B95E28-A9E4-45BA-AC54-530E0126730A.jpgABD4DAA7-411D-47E2-A07F-29EB150B64EF.jpg

That is all history and as far as the goes the ones that break have not been available for some time, old news. Set the SPC's at either D or E setting. Set lower control arms for max caster . 0 out the camber and set toe to 0 before you ever go for an alignment and the shop has no reason to touch the uppers unless you have a clearance issue and then you have the option in most cases to move the tire forward or backwards to create space( nice option to have ) with the SPC arms. Those recommendations are for people who actually have some understanding of what the arms can actually do. I have worked on many Ram 1500s so I completely understand how much of a pain in the butt UCA clearance with the tires side wall can be. they are close on OE set ups . Some of the aftermarket arms look like that never entered their mind when designing their arms. That was my first reason I looked at SPC as we are limited enough for wheel selection to begin with. Maybe before purchasing any brand read some of the threads that pertain to each brand as I did . The 50 some page one on LR uppers and alignment was more than enough to convince me that for my needs SPC is fine and they posted all of the negatives also. LR may not be for everyone but the faults I read in this thread makes them sound like junk which seems to be untrue when you spend some time with the search tool here at TW. I run 305-70-17 with a 9" wheel and my Body mounts has not been touched as I use setting E .

I actually just ordered a pair of SPC's

I'm hoping that it goes well, and I feel like it's safe to assume that all the issues about them breaking were from older models? It looks like they've been redesigned since then.

So...the newest style SPC's don't have issues right?

Questions are still being asked relating to the op's topic. Some threads were started many years ago and continue today which is a good thing in my eyes. Better to have one thread with lots of questions and answers than using the search tool and finding many threads asking similar questions with duplicate answers. I always use the search tool first then ask if I can't find it . Parts evolve so what was a good answer years ago may not be today. This way if some one answers a question it only needs to be asked and answered once per thread till the typical forum "he who swings the biggest penis" starts and ruins it.
