IDK whether he did it or not. All it is is his word. The problem is even if he didn't do it, he allowed it to happen and then SHARED IT as if nothing was wrong with it. But we will keep this for somewhere else.

 

The other day I turned in oil at an O’Reilly, they didn’t ask if I bought it there (though I did). But they made me go through some crazy paperwork process for the first time. Next time I will leave it on the counter and run.

 

I feel like publicizing it on IG is on par with doing the deed itself.

Some shops run waste oil heaters and will greet your used oil with glee.

 

No, not exactly at 45, but 45mph or less according to the owners manual (and maybe some text in the truck in warnings); I'd have to look back over that. Or maybe I'm confusing having read that with what the salesman said, but something prompted that conversation. I'd be keen to find out I was wrong, for sure.

 

I thought I'd read it in the truck, or perhaps in the manual. I know I discussed that with the salesman and perhaps he'd said it and I just thought I'd read it. I'm more than happy to be wrong. Hopeful even!

Picked up a couple cheapy Molle pouches from eBay.



Added some nylon straps to the headrest covers.





I transferred all the stuff from my first aid kit that sat in the rear door pocket into it.

The pouch weighs practically nothing so I’m not worried too much about it hanging here. Plus the inside is backed with nylon as well.

First aid is easily accessed now, but still outta the way.

I need to do the passenger side one tomorrow.

Also mocked up the Ride Rites to make sure I had all the parts.

 

While that is true, what is also true is buying modifications that align with your future modifications. Identify your future goals, then make your purchase based on your goals. It's better to but once, not having to worry about future purchases. I went with 886 OME front coils because I KNEW I was buying an arb front bumper. That's an example. Unless in the future I go long travel, I'm good with my suspension.

Washed my baby and did the rear diff breather relocation mod.

 

Got to be my most favorite mod. Changed the gauge lights to white led with stock red needles. Looks so good in person. And best of all took out the tpms led!

4HI is great for running around town if you live in a snowy area. Don't be missing out!

 

Didnt do a whole lot, painted/tinted my turn signal cover and the stupid amber side cover dealio in VHT nightshade. Did about 4 coats but light shines through just fine. I have Led turn signals so I'm not worried about not having enough light shine through. A nice twig fell on one of then so it's not perfect. I cant decided if I should just paint the side reflector in gloss black and paint underneath where the then signal thing goes in black or not. When the trim piece is painted white I'll see how it all looks. Also scuffed up the chrome and did a pre, pre clean for paint. I will more than likely go over it once more with scotch brite and clean it again. Still need to refresh the lenses as well. Waiting for nice weather to wash, clay bar and wax my truck, trim some more fender out (started rubbing again after slider install) and fix my cat rattle a bit more permantely.
