Mud season is upon us. I’m
Running a TRD Off-road stock. Any cool spots to go do some moderate wheeling in? In Mass or CT. Willing to drive anywhere in both states.

That stuff kills me. I've got guys making pipe welding income and they're fresh snots out of school and complain they're not making full rate. They still jump when / if they can they start a torch

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Are you specifically looking to go mudding? If thats the case I don't know of ANY trails you are supposed to be on. Mud season in New England means stay off the trails as to not cause any damage. Tread lightly

You could always go do the mud fest

Thanks. Yes it's going very well

    Morning all.

My driveway's pretty soft right now  I'm actually considering parking on the lower lot for a while; it's still frozen solid down there and it'll give the upper driveway a chance to thaw out and firm up a bit. Then once it starts getting soft down there the upper driveway should have firmed up enough that I can move back up.
And the GF is gone for the next 10 days anyway, so it won't even be an inconvenience to her :notsure:

My driveway is a complete shitshow. My entire property drains down the hill right down my driveway, the whole lower half is melting and freezing every day, it's a glacier at the bottom every morning. I have to put a wheel in the snowbank just to keep from sliding into the main road. Up top it's mud, then a huge section that is at least 4" deep of standing water. And I have 10 foot high snowbanks everywhere... mud season is gonna SUCK

I've kept everything swept pretty clear of snow this year; after every storm I've gone through with the tractor and cleaned up the edges and shoved banks out of the way with the tractor. But it's a double-edged sword this time of year, because there's no snow to melt onto my driveway, but because there hasn't been any snow all winter I've got a ton of frost in the ground that's all coming out at once.

Put a steel bumper on your truck, then build a snowbank across the bottom so you slide into that instead of the road, then just 4x4 yourself over the snowbank and onto the road. Easy-peasy.

Finally did my first meds this past week. 5100 at all 4 corners, AAL, and new Falken Wildpeak at3 265/75/16. Gained about 4 inches total and couldn't be happier with how it looks and rides. Not a great picture but this was right after tires were put on.

He'd have to shave his truck's neckbeard for that.

    And your truck's taller, too.

Started my truck today and heard what sounded like my exhaust is loud and has a leak towards front ( muffler 1.5 years installed) , so I don’t think that is an issue.
I put my palm over tailpipe and it seems like it is lacking pressure. Seemed stronger in past. Just restarted after eye appointment and it doesn’t sound as bad but my neighborhood is quieter than where I am now.

Any suggestions on how to determine if I have an issue? Gonna get it on neighbors lift and get a real good look but until then I will try look under

Flanges, gaskets usually blow out. Best way to tell is start it, throw it up in the air. Have one person hold a rag over the end of the tail pipe, amd the other person listen and feel around for where the leak is (do not touch the pipes/flanges themselves, they get hot quick)

Ok gotta wait for reply from neighbor. Just heard the obvious noise on an acceleration from a red light. Definitely feel lack of pressure when I block tailpipe and then release it so... hope it’s not a manifold.

Is the manifold in two pieces or one? If it’s is two and one is NG should I just replace both?

    Thanks

Based off your truck info you have a TRD so I'm gonna assume you have a v6? Each side should be one piece and connect to the Y-pipe if I remember right

I feel your pain. From about high school until I bought my house I don't think I puked once. I've had a few small here and there's since I bought the house but this winter has been rough. I had 3x where it hit me bi-weekly, either up or fail open valve. I missed two days of work in a week which has never happened before.

    C'mon spring.

    Super Cheap 1G

I've been posted on CL Boston 9X right now. I wonder why it's $800 as I thought 1G DCSB trucks were SUPER desirable.

Unless the frame is toast, it's gotta be worth more than that.
