I understand your view. I think they are for a 1996 to 2004 tacoma all the pics on ebay look like the older models but the seller said no. I have the right ones. the fact that I am not satisfied should be enough to give me a refund, but they refuse so that is why I am bashing the seller.

Which is a D move if the item isnt defective, it gets the seller in trouble with ebay and makes parts more expensive because now he is going to have to throw out that $300 part that his profit margin could easily only be $30.00.

Well in my mind (as a ebay/Amazon seller) this is a much stronger evidence that he did list this incorrectly and you happened to be the first buyer. If he had sold a lot of them and got no returns he wouldn't do that.

Don't feel bad, I sent him pics of the part and the pic on his add you could see the difference and he still said no I have the right ones. they gave me some bullshit that they made changes and redesigned the UCA.

Ebay is great for selling cheap Chinese copies of American goods. The copies are mostly crap, I’m just as guilty trying to cheap out
but it bites me in the A$$ especially on ebay.
Take it up with ebay, and if that doesn’t work file a case with Paypal showing the documentation from your shop. Good Luck!

I buy from Ebay all the time. In this day and age, if you don't know how to tell if a price is too good to be true, then you probably should not shop online.

PS: Don't send the prince any money, you are not related. I promise.

Whenever I am buying critical suspension components for my $40,000 truck, I always skimp and save a couple hundred by bucks by buying knock-offs made in China.

So I’m actually running these exact UCAs and have been for about 2 years with zero issues other than the bushings but if you’ve read the write up online on how to modify the bushing you’ll be just fine.

But I did install them upside down originally and they were hitting the spring like a mother fucker they look counter intuitive on how they should be Installed. A friend figured it out so I swapped sides and they line up perfect. I love them for the price.
Try flipping sides and see if that works

    Yes
That first pic is a TC long travel UCA, not an OE length UCA...pretty sure your problem is that you installed them upside down and on the wrong sides amigo which would easily explain what you are experiencing. A few other people have made the same mistake...
