Haha thanks man. Yes you are right, turned down on a lathe, grooves put in with the grooving tool, then drilled and tapped on the lathe. Then draw the picture in autocad, upload it into mastercam, and write a program for the cnc, you are exactly correct. The cnc's are Hass, and the lathes I'm not sure, they're old. I actually make them at school, I'm only in high school. The teacher recently added the cnc machines, two big cnc mills, also two cnc lathes(I just use the manual, although would be easier to write a program for it, would produce faster, much funner manually though), and a mini cnc mill and mini cnc lathe. Its really neat and I love doing it!!! :D

I haven't tried it yet, but I can see how it would turn out. Do you have anything in mind as to how you think you would want it to look?

    Hey Pope,

1st post here as a new Tacoma owner. Wondering if you could make a shift handle with an attached extension? Maybe a 2" extension the same diameter as the shift linkage with your custom knob on top? I had a Frontier that had a great tall stock shift handle. I want to extend the stock shaft and add a custom knob (aluminum). Should be able to make it out of one 5" piece on the lathe. Would kind of look like a popsicle when finished. Let me know if you could do something like that and how much. Thanks!

I think I would definately get one if you could make a round one in either black or a dark titanium color

Hey all, and especially Pope! Here are a few pics of the shift handle and extension installed. Sorry it took so long- been a hellish couple of weeks. But here they are anyways.

    Pope- you do incredible work!

The rest of you considering purchasing Pope's craftsmanship- do not hesitate for a second! You will not be disappointed!
