I’m glad I could provide a days topic for you guys.
Let me start off by saying I’m not really proud of the way I acted. I allowed myself to be sucked in to a juvenile situation. I knew better so I’m sorry to those of you that read it.

HOWEVER, I stand by the troll statements 100%. On civilized message boards, technical questions are treated with a little respect. A reply with a simple answer is ok but these people just reply over and over again with irrelevant information and memes to get their post count up. This place is like freaking 4chan, always attacking someone. I can’t believe we as a community put up with it. This thing with tcmbst is just the latest mob attack with the moderators right in the middle of it.

Truth is cold water makes the body sink and when it warms it floats. Kind of gross but had a high school friend and his father fell into lake near Panama City and it was almost a month before they surfaced. Awfully sad but should not have been out there with weather like it was. Glad for family to have closure though.

Not sure about that one but there is one in Decatur. Used to shoot BHA with my son. Even took first in state one year. Didn't hurt that I was the only one competing in the senior's class. Not a participation trophy though, I was a tough competitor.

You're right. That's why I dont venture too much outside of my threads I'm comfortable in nowadays. Alabama thread is a safe place lol. I hate seeing so many situations of like you say mob attacks, always with the moderators involved. "At moderators discretion" becomes major BS around here sometimes

I was able to get in contact with a Toyota engineer here in town and show him the video. He immediately noticed that the lights in the gauges didn’t come on. He said the cause of that is a dead ECU ($2500).

However he said that the Denso computers are pretty robust and he’d only ever seen 1 die. He then said that the immobilizer works via cutting power to the ECU which prevents fuel and fire

    So (3) solutions
    1 ECU is F-ed
2 ECU not getting power (fried wire?)
3 Immobalizer cutting power to ECU

Going out of town next week. Having it towed to the dealer after I guess :sadviolin:

I think the problem here is people don’t have much of a choice. If you want to talk shop you must deal with the scum. This happened in the LS1 community about 20 years ago. Trolls and repetitive post about simple subject like hood graphics and bolt on exhaust led to several of the racers and serious enthusiasts starting LS1tech which killed LS1.com and still dominates the LS market today.
