Sounds good, yeah I just looked up Timmy's video on it and it looks pretty straight forward, he shows in the factory service manual how they say you're supposed to make match marks on the propeller shaft and slip yoke as well to make sure everything lines up properly when you're done. Looks like something I'm going to have to tackle on a weekend to make sure I give myself enough time

No special tools needed I just greased it with the owners manual suggested grease by hand and it worked like a charm. I’m a single cab one piece DS though, not sure if that makes a difference

yeah looks pretty easy just gotta make sure it goes back in the same way it came out, really. I need to see which grease to get, Timmy recommends the kind used on Ford slip yokes XG-8 by Motorcraft I think.

I sure hope so, $20 for a small tube of it...damn lol.

I'll see if I can just grab it at the local Ford dealership since I'm impatient.

It's not just techs. I'm a carpenter and the quality of work that some people find acceptable is mind blowing to me. I'm the guy on the crew that my boss always calls to fix other employees hack jobs. I'm so sick of dealing with idiots it's making me seriously think about switching careers. Then I realize that idiots are fucking everywhere and no place is safe. Do your job and do it right. Rant over. lol
