    Yo Coot!

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle?
How big or small are you?
    How quickly do you learn?

I have messed around on one, but nothing too crazy. Im 5'10 at 230 pounds, I think depending on what Im doing I can learn things decently fast. Whats up brother?

Just sizing you up for a bike, a little ttr125 is a lot of fun to play on, but not an adequate bike to actually ride.
A 125 two stroke is a blast to ride! But you’ll need to cut a lot of weight for it to really be enjoyable. Otherwise you’re just feathering the clutch waiting for the powerband.

A 250 four stroke would be a great choice that you can start with and grow with for a few years. Something like a CRF 250 X or WR 250. These are the “trail” versions with a wider gear ratio, smoother power and softer suspension.

Ha I feel like you got me figured out as a 250 sounds right based off what friends have recommended before. How long have you been riding and what do you ride now? Im guessing something like a 450?

Hahaha! Nice. You have good friends.

I’ve been riding for 16-17 years. Yep, on a CRF 450 R. Love this bike! But over the years I’ve had a few 125 2 strokes and a couple 250 4 strokes.

Ah nice man that’s some solid time on some bikes. How quick would you go through them? I assume the 450 is the end game ride right?

I usually hold on to them for years, the 450 I’m on now has been mine for ~5 years or so.
I was actually shopping for a 250 but this 450 sort of fell into my lap and I couldn’t pass up the deal. It’s so much bike but it’s a blast to ride! If I sell it I’ll prob switch back to a 250 again. The 450 power makes me lazy because I can corner slow and just roll on the throttle and still clear whatever is infront of me haha

How much would you think a decent 250 could go for?

Depends how new you want but 2400-3500 will get you something nice. You can find deals between 2000-2400, just not as easy to come by.
Are you going to register it in CA?

Dude, if you want something less than a 450... The Husqvarna FX 350 is legit

If anyone is interested, I have a 2016 Honda CRF250R for sale in really good condition. Bought it with the intentions of doing a lot of riding but I am looking to buy my first house so it's up for sale. Please text send me an email (rich@agatools.com) for pictures.

Hey guys I’m thinking about getting a season pass to big bear this year and curious if anyone will be riding there this year when the lifts open?

I’m definitely going to be trying to ride up there a bit. Probably not a season pass though as I don’t expect to have that much time to ride.

I think Im going to hit up Big bear after memorial weekend. Depending on if the girl is still in town I might have to delay a bit, but hoping to start doing weekends up there when I get time instead of just one day. Might have to do some fast stuff since we are also LT brethren.
