had mine since october washed it at least 5 times.. would have been more if not for the frigid weather, and snow... makes rinsing it off really hard when the icicles form underneath, and soap freezes to the hood, and roof...

If your state uses salt on roads, make sure you rinse underside often as you can . If can , everytime you drive back home.

It would just be a waste of water for me. It’s impossible to keep a vehicle clean where I live and they look better dirty anyways

I bought my truck to access remote and beautiful areas. To do that here, you gotta drive some overgrown trails. It’s just the way it is. Once you rake the paint through the “redneck carwash” a couple times, the opportunities to get to amazing places open up as you care less and less, which actually makes you love the truck more and more for what it does for your life.

I’m my opinion, worrying about your paint takes your life away, but I get that’s not always a point we all agree on. Personally I’m not looking for panel damage, but the paint has to be sacrificed. If I ever sell the truck I’ll have it cut-polished.

Any loss in resale value has been more than paid for in the joy brought from the truck getting me the places I want to go.

There you go, plus one gajillion. I mean, I don't actively go out of my way to pour paint thinner on the truck or anything, but it's dirty and it's got crumbs and other assorted life junk and I'm super ok with that. The thing that gets me more than anything is dust on the dash and instrument panel so I'm pretty regular with a microfiber sweep and I'll vacuum but that's about it. If the thing gets washed more than once every three months, that means I got really really bored or my girls wanted to feed the ducks at the car wash.

I believe in living life, not trying to maintain a pristine set of belongings. Hell, I just bought a Q7 over the he weekend and I've already eaten in it every single day since then. Every bite was delicious.

I can’t eat in my vehicles because I don’t want cock roaches in there. Those damn things get in and don’t leave. One major draw back of living in a tropical environment.

It’s all relative to where you live. For right now, this is as royal as it gets.
