Circling back to this thread. I vaguely recall from the beginning that the guy had enough money in the bank to pay off the truck but opted to keep it in reserve?

Just washed the taco today. Chemical guys really has amazing soap. The shine was brighter but the camera wont do it justice. Made the tires shiny too. I finally put the avs wind visors (after the wash). Have to wait 24 hours tho. Also got the OVTune. 70mph in 2nd gear is so much fun!

don't take this the wrong way but at 18 you have no business driving a new truck. Not because you can't afford it or because people will think daddy bought it (they will) but because you need to build some character driving around shitty old cars for awhile to gain some perspective.

I drove around my dad's Suburban when I was 18 and yeah it was cool but I never really appreciated it until I bought my first car, a '98 Buick LeSabre. The coolest thing you could say about it was that it looked like the kind of car a jaded as fuck drunk police detective would drive....that or your grandpa.

That thing had over 200k klicks on it and it would leak oil everywhere and shit would go wrong with it but it made me gain an appreciation for having a new vehicle now.

    Eh, what do I know.

It’s not like I haven’t drove a 2003 taco that I had to fix too. Had that thing for 3 years.
