I can only imagine, seems that quite a few St. Louis area people go out of their way to act like jerks.

Trying to sleep but my mind is full of go,go,go.

Which do you think is better... aluminum or steel skid plates?

Depends, I use my plates to my advantage which means I sometimes intentionally put the trucks weight onto them to help pivot over or around stuff. For that I’d go steel. If you are worried about lighter stuff getting mixed up in your undercarriage - read that in old Greg’s voice - then go with heavy duty alloy. Regardless if you do go with a full set, have the exhaust reroute done. Makes things flatter and takes some headaches away.

When you can climb under the truck and notice how the left bank runs under the transfer case to link up with the right. Rerouting it brings it behind the transfer case making a smoother belly and allows for flat skids. I recommend a heat shield at the back of the transfer case to protect the electronic actuator as usually when wheeling we do allot of idling and heat starts to pool.

Gotcha. I’ll google the exhaust reroute and see what my options are!

    Thank you @G.T.

I don’t want to sound redundant but Austin bangs them out pretty fast and he makes the heat shields too.

Fingers crossed that once we turn south at Mount Vernon this weather will be someone else’s problem.

Oh man. What a deal. Starting at $490k. 50k initial deposit. I wonder if they take third party out of state checks?
