Haha I'm by Tampa we have Test and Tune every Thursday in Bradenton. Waiting Patiently to take it just for shats and giggles. I'm a 2wd so its a street queen to tow the boat, go to home depot and mess around.

I have 04A61 ECU ID because I also have a 2018 and had my ecu updated which helped a lot. You are good to go with that ECU installed. Matt said he has released all the tune files for that revision. When you install Toyota Flash Manager you will choose your year model, the ecu calibration you have (04A61) from a drop down menu. When you made those choices you will then be offered tunes that are coded for that ECU. There are a handful of different tunes you can choose from.
I haven't flashed mine yet because I'm waiting on a snowstorm to be over so Matt can ship my OVTunes. I dumbed that explanation down as far as I can because I don't know anymore. I hope that helps.

Weather is good here now, that's not the reason for current shipments going out. We received out latest batch of cables this afternoon and expect to have all orders with pending tracking numbers out by friday.

Our discounted price has generated a lot of interest so we are going as quickly as possible.

I did one after another. Otherwise its kind of a waste to let the tsb learn, then have to wait for the OVtune to do it's learning.

Just be sure to give it a couple hundred miles to settle in......it may do some weird things at first

    Alrighty guys,

OG dongle guy and I thought I had it all under the belt. I’m running 1.05P on 04A60. I thought I was clear of benefitting from the Toyota TSB but the last page or two has me confused. Is there a TSB that would take me to 04A61 that 1.05P would be better on than 04A60?

    Thanks!

Just downloaded the new flash manager. Can anyone explain what the FOB tune is? I have not been able to find anything about it. Also, I understand the Gearlock feature, but is the "gearlock" tune just the gearlock feature on top of the performance tune, or on top of the base tune??

Gearlokc is just an add to performance. FOB is for manual only.

I am a dongle guy here with an auto and I just want to make sure I am not missing anything. There is only one pcm file that we use when flashing now correct? No separate files for TCU and ECU? So all I have to to is pick the P5-CAN from the ECU drop down list and point to the pcm file? I have gone through the directions and one is for none dongle users and the other one I have is for dongle users but talks about two files. Thanks for the help.

same here, wife likes to drive it as well and I said, nope. Switched to 87 perf. milder and not
as fun but the head-jerking tip-in was a bit too much, wheels jerked and spun at every take off
and one rainy day was enough to take it off and try 87 perf.

So i’ve Got about 500 miles on 91 performance (2018 TRDOR DCSB 4x4). Here’s what I think. Is it perfect? Of course not. Is it a big improvement over the stock calibration? Absolutely! I bought this tune primarily looking for better throttle response and more usable cruise control. The tune delivers both of these in impressive fashion. As a bonus, I also got a very significant gain in power. It drives a lot like my 2002 Tundra TRDOR 4x4 with the 4.7, except it seems to have even more power! I love the way it sounds under WOT. Great job Matt! Thank you!

Hopefully I'm not missing this answer somewhere. Once you have the registry file from OV Tune and identify your ECU version there's no longer a reason to email that information to OV Tune now that we have the flash manager with all of the tunes available, right?
