The voodoo blue pro with snorkel at Luv Toyota in Jamestown NY has been there for at least 2 months. No market adjustment BS in our region. I laugh every time I see that snorkel !!! Maybe if they reversed the air flow and made it shoot out cans of beer....then it would sell immediately :)

Haha I certainly wouldn’t buy one. They look stupid and would serve zero purpose for me with no desert in sight.

That and PVC is what you will see on everything Jeep, here in Virginia. Especially those Cherokees with horrible lifts.

Do you guys not have to deal with deep water crossings in the Northeast? Here in the Great Lakes region they are unfortunately very common.

The Pro snorkel is nice in that it avoids the ghetto A-pillar attachment method typically used by aftermarket snorkels.

    Spoken like someone who:

A: never actually drove Offroad on the stock wranglers to understand what a good Offroad tire they are, while being lightweight and fuel efficient. 10X better in snow and on ice than the popular K02, and great everywhere else as well. Only shortcoming would be mud traction. Endless hours of guys on YouTube hard-core wheeling the stock wranglers, no issue. They just don’t look Bro.

B: A person who has never put the truck to the test to the point where they realized they didn’t need the front locker. Between the rear locker and CC, there are very few, if any situations the Tacoma can be put in that exceeds the capability of these systems, that doesn’t also exceed the capabilities of the trucks form factor overall.

No offence, but I’m am so very tired of people just spouting the same nonsense opinions everyone else uses to justify new tires, or sound like an expert. Most of the trucks on this site are driven down fire roads at best if taken off pavement, and all the shit-talking the stock tires and lack of locker is just a repeat of what the last guy said. Too many clean, unscratched, un-dented “overland” 3G Toyota’s here for it to be based on first hand experience.

    Yeah.
Totally agree. And I'm a PRO owner. And I take my truck offroad on the stock tires. Yes, mainly fire roads, but also trails off of those fire roads (you usually have to take fire roads to get to the good stuff). The stock tires are fine and have actually outperformed some of the more aggressive looking options out there in dry conditions (other folks on the run were spinning tires occasionally, while I wasn't -- although I wouldn't expect them to do as well in the mud).

Anyway, the PRO snorkel is ugly, they probably should have limited how many they put out to see how popular they might actually be -- obviously not very. Local dealer has a blue PRO, no snorkel, and I have yet to see a snorkeled one.

I’m snorkeless and proud of it. If your snorkeled and proud there is nothing wrong with that.
