Haha, it was a guy for sure, in a QS SR5. I noticed you fit the description and thought I'd ask, maybe I'll see you some other time though. And if you're on here other Quicksand Taco dude in Baton Rouge, nice truck bro.

working on rear air line installation. ARB twin under the hood, running stainless braided air line to the rear. Located the coupler in the driver side cubby box. I should add that the coupler is an ARB coupler, but NOT the standard one that comes with the compressor. This is a specific coupler with JIC4 threads to accept the braided air line. Looks identical to the standard one...threads are just different.

And it is cheaper. The holes are in the bracket so you have options to mount other stuff.

I've got a couple questions for you since I've been considering the same springs. Did you keep the same perch setting on the 6112's when you installed the 700# springs? Did you happen to measure how much additional lift the heavier springs gave you? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the input. The great thing with SnugTop the structure and paint have a lifetime guarantee (limited; goes without saying). The other benefit is the seal. No re-taping the bed rails if you need to remove it to haul your dirt bike, furniture etc.

I did keep them at the same perch setting. Unfortunately, I did not measure before I got them installed. I don't know how long it will sit like this. They will settle over time (all springs would) and I also plan on adding a bumper and winch so I know that will reduce it by a noticeable amount. If I was not going to add the bumper and winch, I would have gone down a perch setting for sure. From what I have read on here, the springs that come on the 6112's are 600#, the stock springs on our trucks are 700#. I am not sure why they put 600# on the 6112. I am sure there is someone on here that can shed more light into that than I can.

Wrapped the tailgate and mirrors. I think wrapping the mirrors black flows much better with the white.
