Might be time to look at your ignition system.

I may try to pull off my fuel pressure regulator and check it out. Not sure exactly where it's located though.

I wouldn't even know where to start, LOL

Well if your spark plugs are too saturated with fuel, then you could have a loss of compression, due to cylinder wash.

Pull your dip stick, and smell if for fuel.

There is oil on the dip stick (a little low but its an older truck and burns oil between changes)

I'd recommend scanning it for trouble codes and looking for a crank signal pid on a scan tool. Is there an anti-theft light flashing while cranking?

I doubt you have a compression issue since you were just driving down the road and it shut off. You've checked the basic stuff like fuel pressure and spark. Kinda need some diagnostic equipment like a scan tool to go farther in my opinion

Yes, the alarm goes off -- but that happens all the time with the battery being low. I scanned it with my scanner, all I got was a MAF code and I cleaned the sensor and it cleared it.

Do you have a rpm/engine speed signal while cranking?

This is OEM anti theft alarm right and not aftermarket?

Not sure. Has a little red button to the left of the steering column. I bought the truck about 4 years ago -- I would say it's probably aftermarket, but I have no clue honestly.

For some reason you can't unlock the truck from the passenger side without setting off the alarm, must be the driver side only.

But other than that, I've never had any issues from it, and I kinda doubt it would shut my truck off while I'm driving down the road anyway.

Factory doesn't have any button, that has to be aftermarket. I would give that a look over. Alarms are hooked up to disable the vehicle and if it's malfunctioning, it can cause you no start or shut off. If it's anything than a reputable brand, I'd pull it off.

You need to check to make sure you have an STA signal to the PCM while cranking. If that is not happening you can try to crank all you want but the truck will never fire and the PCM requires replacement.

Plugs are not saturated with fuel and cylinders are not flooded right?

Immobilizer light not blinking while you are cranking?

You made sure the delivery and return lines are not on backwards right? It is very easy to do believe it or not.

Check ECT PID with a scanner and ensure that temperature does not ready -40 or something crazy like that as well.

Not sure how to test for STA signal or even what that is. Lol

Plugs are wet and didn't check cylinders for flooding. Doubt this is the case since the motor runs fine if I feed it fuel through the airbox.

I will check for immobilizer light today.

I tried hooking up the pump both ways just to be sure.

    Oh boy...

If you are not receiving an STA signal your truck will never start. You need to check it with a scanner (a good one at that) that offers that PID information.

If your plugs are wet you need to check to make sure your ECT PID is not reading -40 (which is usually an indicator of effectiveness or disconnection as a whole)

You tried hooking up the pump both ways at the tank, or you tried hooking up the lines at the engine bay?

I tried swapping the lines at the pump. I’ll try to see if I can get my hands on a decent reader, mine is very basic.

A reader at this point will be just as important as your physical testing. Check the other stuff in the meantime. Coolant temp is the most important item to check from your scanner if you have access to that information. Because if the temperature sensor is reporting a reading which indicates below freezing fuel will just get consistently dumped into the cylinders and flood your combustion chamber which will cause your plugs to also get soaked in fuel.

This is everything I could find on the reader. Been trying to Google what all I can but it’s a bit overwhelming. These are all just stats without cranking.
