They are rallyarmor universal flaps. My McNeil fender are thick and almost roll at the edge (if that makes sense). So getting a clip nut spread that open would ruin it. But I think your right, I’m going to have to make a bracket. I’ll see what I can come up with using the scrap I have. I wish I had a thin dowel of steel I could bend, the weld nuts too, then weld to the pillar.

 

This is about to be the longest 5 hours of testing of my life

Maybe later this year I'll order one. I already have one in mind, been talking to the fabricator for months about it. Just need to buy another daily, pave my driveway and itll happen.
