Toyota has never really had great exhaust hardware other than the manifold studs it seems

 

Thanks. I was thinking about that. I want to drive it around first for a little and she what kind of curve balls it throws at me. But definitely when the bugs are worked out it’ll get skid plates. Especially if the young’n decides he want to wheel with it too.

 

Just took a better look and can feel the air pushing out of top of flange . Very easy to get at and so after I PBB the eff out of it as planned I’ll hope for the best. A friend of mine has a shop nearby my work and I’m gonna stop by and ask if we can inspect the whole thing, even though I think the problem is identified.

Gonna post some pics of box gardens I made from wood crates that I got from work . They’re in pieces and fold up to put away

 

Does the soil fold up, too?

 

Good riddence to the rattle!

 

I use the crates as wood bins for around my house and disassemble them in the spring.

I change out the soil each year in the boxes and add it to my flower gardens. So it’s easy

 

I’m surprised yours lasted as long as they did! I think mine were rattling and removed inside of 3 years

 

I will reuse hinges to make a larger box for out front of house if boss lady gives the ok

 

Think mine started rattling after 7 years. New hose clamp fixed it.

 

Hey everyone,

Are any meetups happening anytime soon? There doesn't seem to be many in the RI/CT/MA area. Semi new to TW and especially this thread.

There are a couple of threads about meetups. There is also one about a fluid film being done. If someone doesn't beat me to it I'll try to post them shortly.

 

I think my 4Runner is going to be a bigger debris magnet than the Tacoma was. Something flew off of a bigger truck earlier and chipped paint down to the metal just above the windshield. Might cover it with some vinyl till it gets fixed.
