Should hop in and park it between the lines. When he comes running out angry just tell him "FIFY".

I'm not trying to say that this story is unlikely or that you're lying... because that would be impolite and out of line. I will, however, ask if you have heard of the sub reddit r/thatHappened.

Pulled up in the handicap spot to pick up his kids from the skatepark. I would rather have seen him just pull up in the red.20190310_132154.jpg

Here is a different kind of asshole! Parked over the line because he showed up at work late and drunk. Late but to early to be drunk 9:30am. Not the first time either. Because of laws in this state company can’t fire him. We can only offer him help.

Maybe you can ask for extra patrols from L.E., for safety sake.

Can't you recommend him to the sheriff's dept as a DUI target?

    I mean, it's a free collar.

We didn’t see him drive in but when he came into the room it was obvious. Once we notice it we can’t send him home Incase he hits someone. So we have to call him a cab.

In my town, a bus driver got arrested for DUI while sitting in the bus at a school. After they were released later that day, they returned to get their car and were arrested again for DUI. Folks in these situations need help, and sometimes that requires hitting rock bottom or at least a push from law enforcement

We had a contractor get arrested AT HIS DESK because he was drunk at work and had driven here that way. Our armed security walked him to the door, where APD took him and he blew a .14. They figured he was at a .2 when he drove in. We packed all his stuff into a box and he was never seen here again.

He got the help he needed, but he didn't get it inside this facility.

Mississippi is a right to work state. We can fire anyone at anytime and not even give a reason. My company wouldn’t even offer to help him pack his shit after we sent him on his way

If the person is an alcoholic it can be considered a disability... Makes it much harder to fire them. Now, if they were drinking on the job or something, that would be different, but just showing up "suffering from a disability" it has a better chance of being protected.

That’s exactly what it is here. They can say my work sucks and they don’t need me anymore but he can just say I have a problem and he’s ok.

But might an alcoholic have a problem and “need” to drink while at work?

Apparently employees still need to abide by rules like "drug free/alcohol free workplace". (I've been googling)

I know it's "a jeep thing" but seems a little silly in the city.
