I’ve used those Plink things (garbage disposal cleaner/refresher balls) and I did run bleach through it? The smell went away but seemed to come right back. :notsure:

Hit 40° today, foggy start because it was just so damn warm.

    Truck top of driveway.jpg

About 11 looked out and a lot of the ice had melted. And the truck had worked its way down the drive to do a flex on the edge of the snow.

    Truck Flexing.jpg

Hate when that happens, gives me goosebumps to look out and not see it where I parked it. Do like that the ice is melting. It should I put 75 lbs. of ice melt down yesterday.

There's all kinds of remedies that don't work. I use Dawn detergent and lots of hot water. Can't really scrub them.

Have you ever tried Quercitin with Bromelin? My ENT told me to take it daily and I haven’t taken allergy pills since?

That actually could solve a lot of other issues at the same time.

Try the baking soda and vinegar and then let it sit for 15 minutes then flush with water and finish with a cup of bleach

I take Alavert. I have a military doc so they're limited. Stuff here grows and usually dies off pretty quick so it's not too constant. Though no telling this year.

I’ll give it another go when I get home! I use Dawn detergent anyway so why not! :)

@US Marine - I haven’t tried baking soda and vinegar down the drain. I do use it to clean the sink. Makes it a real nice shiny white! :D

Thanks guys! I’ll try both when I get home. If nothing else I’ll know I have a clean disposal.

The Quercitin with Bromelin (which I think is pineapple based) is an over the counter thing. It’s like an all natural sort of thing. One side benefit is it is also a natural anti inflammatory.
About 5 years ago I became allergic to all kinds of trees and grasses.

Try it all, something's bound to work. One thing I do is run the disposal when I'm running the water. Don't know if it does any good or not but it works eventually.

I just had to reseal the dispoal side plumbers play-dough and it stunk a little bit till I rinsed it afterward...dunno.

Same up here , butterflies everywhere !!!!

Have you been watching the Eagle cam from Big Bear ??? , the Male is completely clueless !!! . He brought a fish to the nest and ate it in front of the female . The female looked pissed and started to go after him . He also brings branches / twigs to the nest and lays them ontop of the female

Yep, garbage disposal will be receiving a lot of attention tonight. If nothing else the rest of the house will have a nice Dawn green apple, vinegar, baking soda, bleach smell.

You know, we never use the dishwasher. Just the wife and I, so we do them by hand.

Thanks, I never thought of that. I’ll drain the line while I’m inhaling the above concoction of fragrances.

I did see him bring the fish and then proceed to eat it. I couldn’t figure out what the heck he was doing.:notsure: I didn’t think he could be that clueless.
