Yeah, its the nylon based tent design too, not the heavy canvas. So it should dry better for condensation / rain and be a little lighter.

I'll def get some pics up. Plus it looks like I'm starting to book up the calendar!

Figure out Switchpro gremlin (randomly acts "dead" for several days, will randomly come on) - likely loose connection, just gotta find where...

Cool, that should be a nice upgrade! Do you have a waterport or what do you use for onboard water when youre out in the backcountry

 

I have one of @ProForce 's water pump kits installed and run it off 3 5gal scepter cans.

 

Considering 80% of its use has been on me, I would encourage it. Maybe not as extreme as mine, but do an assessment before you assemble one what your likely injuries would be and how urgent is the treatment.

IDK if he is selling or not. He did them in batches and sometimes had a good gap in between. Honestly, you could prob kit it out yourself for cheaper, but it was easier to pay a man with a good idea and written instructions.

 

Pretty sure he sold what inventory he had and stopped selling them. I could be wrong, but, I don't think so.

I have a water port and i barely use it, but i've always thought that was a nice setup. Ill probably piece something together later on down the road if i start using what i've got more. The water port works pretty good for what it is, i must say. My dog gets sick sometimes in the truck and it is a lifesaver to be able to wash your hands after cleaning that up lol. Thats what i use it most for

 

If I did it again, and what I plan to redo soon, is install it in a small pelican case or ammo can rather than a bed cubby, then power it off a 12v plug since I have my fridge wiring already in the bed.

 

I do like that idea alot.. May have to incorporate that into my future setup.. Maybe a hard mount with a quick release to make it more portable

I wish I had something to update. Its been cold and snowy since my AZ trip and since it warmed up, I have been on the road for work.
