Makes sense I am planning to do the same in the near future, I am interested to hear your feedback after you make the change.

What width wheel are you going to be using?

Anyone running a 265/75R16 on a 16" steelie spare? Gonna go to a matching spare, but wanna make sure it doesn't make contact with any of the steering/suspension components.

285/75r16 on SCS SR8 wheels. I've had them about a year now and I'm loving them despite the decrease in gas mileage.

I dont have much time to read through 200+ pages on this thread.

How well do these perform on wet asphalt? I had some Wrangler Duratrac and those things where as slippery as a condom covered in K-Y..

Mine were excellent with no complaints. I had about 20k or so miles on it when I sold the truck. So I can’t really speak to after they’ve been worn down beyond that

Im from Seattle and know about rain. These have been the best offroad tire on wet roads not to mention all the other conditions. They continue to impress.

Thank you and yes I remember quite the humidity while on TDY at Fort Lewis. Just got back from the installer and these S/T Maxx are sweet.

Did y'all do road force balancing on these tires? Seems I have a bit of vibration when the tires are cold.

Just got them Friday. Im taking them back to Discount to get them checked and re-balanced.
BTW Discount tire has a whole page explaining what road force balancing it, so I presume they have a machine that is capable of doing it.
