I was thinking more like tree ring dates. 6" thick slices.

Any advice here for staining a fence? Using TWP penetrating stain on an 18 month old cedar "shadowbox" fence. Pump sprayer or airless? I will back brush each section as a go either way. Needs a light cleaning to get the gray out before I start, advice on chemicals to use?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Just power wash the patina away. You shouldn't need any chemicals for that.

Are you doing any work to your house? In my area it’s not uncommon if you have a building permit for them to come check things out.

@floodedkiwi Does anyone wrap their brick mold with aluminum? Leaving a little lip on it to act as flashing. Put your J channel right up against door jamb on top of the lip. Helps with water. Also helps preserve the wooden brick mold. The brick mold could definitely use some protection.

Dunno, to be honest. It has what looks like a concrete board product mounted vertically (4x8), however the windows are just surface mounted, so I’m confused. I think I will just vinyl side over the entire house and call it done....
Just a thought right now, as I am working on sewer issues... ya got covered in shit the other weekend, so bad the dog wouldn’t come near me...

Gauge in machine pegged it at 7500lbs . Machine can't lift it , he could only flip it and drag it . We can't get it into a dump truck , we're going to have to load it on a flat bed trailer to move it off site . Machine operator is thinking of taking it and standing it up at his property entrance to put his road address sign on .
