Long black piece that clips in the roof of cab missing

can anyone tell me the proper name of it ? seem to have lost the piece on drivers side access cab if that matters? thanks

 

You mean the gasket that's on the top of the cab?

I think you're referring to the drip rail weather stripping.

From what I understand, they're interchangeable between 2nd and third gens.

Update .dealer covered under warranty! Added a dab of to both sides .

 

One of those tried to fly off my truck when I drove it home from the dealer right after signing the papers (October 2015). Landed in the box lol, stuck it back in place with some added silicone to hold it down. No escape attempts since.
