Base - This is the base tune for both AT and MT. Designed for better response and better MPG.

Performance - Automatic Transmission only Performance Oriented tune with enhanced response, 6800 RPM rev limiter, and changes to throttle control.

GearLock - Automatic Transmission only Performance tune with ECT Gear Locking

FOB - Manual Transmission Only Tune with modified cylinder filling control to greatly enhance low rpm driving and response, while maintaining better response and torque from low RPM to high RPM.

- all pending tracking numbers that people have been emailed will be updated with UPS no later than tomorrow afternoon
- recently placed orders will ship early next week (more cables on the way)
- we will be working with a few trucks that have shifting issues and 04B30 Rev limit shift issue this weekend.

I need 04B02 as well, but it isn’t worth asking. It will be done when it is done.

 

Anyone here happen to go from 93 performance to 87 performance? Much noticeable difference? Looking to cut back some at the pump

 

There is a significant difference between the two in my opinion. I wouldn't trade the 93 Performance tune for any other so far. I have gotten used to the throttle response and how to control it when needed. If there is more to squeeze out of these trucks NA I'll be all for it. Different tunes for Different dudes. It's nice to hear Mat is working on the shift tables so i can tune back to the 93.

 

Just finished installing the 1.05 tune on my 2017 DCLB TRDOR Long Bed and all I can say is WOW!! Noticeable improvement with only using the 87 tune. As many others have said - it drives like you expect it to drive! Sure wish Toyota would get their act together on this process. Maybe they should contract with Mat to learn how to program!

it will be updated once we have :
1. all our code thoroughly tested
2. any outstanding issues on certain ecus (like shift limit on 04B30) resolved.
3. other updates.

As for timeline right now, we're looking at probably summer time.
