    I just had bad luck with my one attempt at a cheap subie. won't do it again. I'd probably buy a new one if I just had the money to spend, but doubt I ever will lol.

    lol exactly. I spent 1800$ for my cheap DD subie and got to drive it for approximately 2 weeks, had a flat tire, misfire, car locked itself up on the ecu and had to be reset, just something over and over. sold it for 1k$ and chalked it up as a loss.

    bought this '98 4runner almost exactly 1 year ago for $3600 and have had 0 actual issues out of it, just replaced the pads and rotors. 293k miles on her.
