    Huh, well there's no shortage of the bastards around here. One likes to sleep outside the front door of my work. Some folks who open up the place thought it was a normal dog and tried to approach it, luckily it was scared and ran off.

    They dry and sell them to big fur company that ship them over seas and make clothes out of them.

    People still wear fur.

    A 250$ coyote hide is super rare, from what I’ve seen on Facebook this year people are getting around 80 for nice, thick, western furs.

    It’s pretty decent, bobcats seems to be averaging 450$ right now, really nice ones can go for around a grand.

    It’s hard to make money trapping when you add up all the expenses, most people just do it to get outside.

    Some people catch hundreds of coyotes every year and actually make some good money, there’s a guy in here that catch’s around 50 bobcats and brings in 30k for during the winter and then goes fights fire in the summer.
