Right? it looks super weird. I made this step a good bit bigger, so we'll see if I get any real action. This morning looked about the same. I've never seen one like this, like a lava lamp basically haha

My buddy's fiance works for Firestone and he gave me this bottle at new years. I've been delaying popping it, and finally did last night. Took one sip and said f'n nope. Drain pour for me. I mean, it tasted like what it said, a dark and stormy, so I can't be too mad, but...I don't like dark n stormys. Oh well.

Lime & Ginger... so many things could go wrong. I like Ginger, but you can certainly kill it by being too heavy handed. It's like licorice/Anise... love/hate based on level of contrast.

Ok fellow beer nerds... Sadly, I am forced to give up ALL beer and alcohol (consensus of my doctors). Doesn't mean I can't look/dream.

As a result, I have decided to split my beers into stuff that I can age, trade receives, and everything else. I don't think there is a lot, but certainly at least a dozen or more (Gulf South/Louisiana mostly).
I was originally going to create a game to offer up a reserve bottle, but now I can do that with these others. The question is, what? I thought about just randomly placing 3 bottles/cans into USPS priority boxes and sealing them up... But now I am thinking it may be more fun to let the winners pick from the available stash. First winner, picks three, etc. I'd ask that the winners pay shipping... the beer is free. Thoughts? I'd like it to be as fun/entertaining as possible and allow participation regardless of timezones. Oh, and beer related.

Box it all to me and I’ll see it’s taken care of :)

I’m not looking forward to when I possibly get switched medications that’s not alcohol friendly. Best of luck.

Yep, been a dry three weeks so far. I'm a low volume/ high quality drinker, so 0-3 a week is my speed. As someone here said... if it looks like used motor oil, it's my kind. I'll miss that, but still enjoy seeing reading about what is around, so there's that. I just figure since I can't really do trades, why not game show some one way transfers? I'll try and get a "family photo" today/tomorrow so folks can get an idea of what I'm bringing out.
EDIT: these would likely be IPA/Pilsner/etc., since the stouts should age well :D

I have a few folks I'm sure I could have mailbombed, but I'd rather make it amusing and give folks an opportunity at something different.

My dry month was rough. It's not even the alcohol, I just love the flavors. I think.... I had some docs telling me to cut back, so...i'm working on that. Quality over quantity.

That being said, I'm down for this event!
