Good morning all. Suppose to get some rain here today. Work was very slow yesterday - I don't like hanging around without anything to do. I'm sure "they" saved it for me and will wait until later this afternoon to surprise me...

Stumbled across an old 03 access cab tacoma yesterday. 100k miles hightop camper shell with door instead of tailgate. Engine is filthy and has a bad ground code. Going to test drive after work to see if any other codes flash while driving. Ac doesn’t work.

Finish up the Camry this morning then dive into that dam Tacoma elect issue that’s my fault (sick).
Ordered an amplifier for it just to have it here in case my wiring check and power flow come out ok.
$780 bucks you just don’t throw these parts at something....

 

Had it towed to the body shop. Adjuster is supposed to look at it today. Needs a knuckle, most likely a lower control arm, bumper, air dam, fog light. If I were doing it, I'd also replaced the hub and tie rod. She's back on the bus and not liking it one bit.

As long as they don't total it, I'll be happy.

I finally repiped an underground hot water leak yesterday. Didn’t want to interrupt service while students were there so it’s been leaking for months
