Yesterday sucked. Didn't get to gym because I had such a shit day at work. Had to fire an employee of mine due to safety concerns we've repetitively discussed. Worst part of management... You try so hard to help and give time and tons of training material and constantly ask for their feedback on what can help them grow and improve and yet you go nowhere...

Nobody is perfect right, but what I don't understand is the lack of effort to improve. It's not like we gave him 3 days to improve, no its been months. When we finished our investigation too, we discussed with him and asked him his side of things. He of course said he's perfect in everything... We even gave him a chance to be honest and open (would of saved his job) and yet, he just denied everything...

 

Working from home today. A girl (20s) came for some solicitation for some school thing. Sounded fake. But she had a paper that listed her name/weight/hair color with a picture. She is 5'10" and 268#.

I have terrible genetics and am a fat loser slob myself, working on it, but man I judged her pretty hard (in my mind). I was like DAMN you like a Honda Ridgeline with your fat self. More weight I lose, more I judge other fat people


Also for the first time in my life booked a hotel (for vacation next week), and made sure they had a gym first, which I plan to use while there!

 

You'll have that in the early stages. Everyone judges, and while good or bad it's just human nature. When I have people I know who ask for help and consistently encourage to get better and never do so - I judge them poorly... Anyone else, no matter their physical or mental state - I for lack of better term feel bad for them. I wish I could help in some way. It's a rough life no matter what and all some people seem to need is direction.

 

Thank you for that. I am not a fitness model (nowhere close) and have no reason to judge. I even did it last night, coming home, HUGE LINE at local Jack in the Box. I was thinking "why are you guys eating there???!!"

Oh well, gotta keep the nose down, and grind away at the gym, and make my own progress in life

Can’t judge people for being fat when you are/were fat really.

Only judge if they complain or use their weight as an excuse to not be able to execute task. They can lose weight just like you did. Maybe they just don’t care or want to. A lot of people are fine being fat until it becomes a health problem.

I’m not supporting being unhealthily heavy but aye if someone wants to be chunky then have at it. I don’t blame em. I’d rather have pizza and tacos than chicken and salad. And sitting on the couch watching movies with your pups is more relaxing than in a crowded gym.

Everybody has to live their own lives. Just my .02

Having been in shape my whole life and then letting myself go in college to the tune of +80lbs, I still judge people who complain about being out of shape and do nothing to help themselves. Getting back in shape is hard and takes discipline, even more so to stay in shape. If you don’t care about your health, knock yourself out, it doesn’t affect me. Just don’t go making excuses on why you “can’t”

 

If it makes you feel better, i wouldn’t fuck you for $$ either.

Doesnt hurt my feelings. In life we have to face the truth. Some of us are lazy fat fucks who deserve to be fat. Trying to change it for the good

 

Interesting mine was the opposite

Fat all my life. Undergrad, grad - 7 years top of my fitness. 6 days workout. Clean eat. 137lb lean. Was so awesome

Then after that - workforce, family, mortgage (these are fat people excuses), let myself go. Ballooned up to 188lb

At least you are recognizing youre making excuses and are actively changing it.

I know people make fun of guys who use gloves but fuck. Sometimes they’re nice. Hands were hurting pretty bad doing shrugs today. Gloves on and worlds better lol
