Just wanted to thank @N2DesignsInc (Jimmy) for his remote starter kit install today. I had the opportunity to actually meet up with him in person and have nothing but nice things to say about the guy. Great product, awesome service and very detail oriented! Definitely recommend Jimmy (N2 Designs) if you need any automated work done on your truck..

Service with Jimmy has been a perfect 10.

He sent me my re-flashed unit a couple weeks ago...I'll finally have time to reinstall it this weekend. Looking forward to a warm truck!

    Dear Jimmy,

I cannot do anything with my CL6 app..it's like there's no connection. I've attempted to log out, log back in. I went to then, delete the vehicle and it wouldn't let me...popped up an alert telling me to call them if I'm experiencing issues.

Have you unplugged the smart module and done a complete hardware re-install? (Not the remote starter 3X start, just the Smart Module?) Because everyone else is up and running...its you hahah. Lets connect tomorrow.

Check your black plug, just a loose connection. No reason for reinstall.

Really? Not what you had been saying...plus re-syncing has been proven.

I guess if you want to try unplugging it for a minute then plugging it back in, both plugs, hit unlock a couple times and then plug it back in, sign out, kill app, sign back in...let me know if that works.

@jmeitz can you please enjoy your vacation, the fort is being held down and there'll be plenty of TW for you when you get back!

Sounded like he did the resync, but stopped working.

Assumption...I didn't explicitly see that was said. Have to assume it wasn't correctly done as some have done, then correctly re-synced and haven't had one issue, from not one who has experienced this dilemma.

@N2DesignsInc @jmeitz - Never assume bois...you make an ass you of u and me :p

I did NOT do a resync, I was under the understanding that it could wait until warmer weather based on a conversation I had with Jimmy, you see it was colder then a Siberian airstrip during a polar vortex. The other day I had no issues then yesterday it decided to throw me the big middle finger.

Hey now, @jmeitz isnt an ass,
I never assumed anything, in fact I nailed it, it’s not the hardware, it’s you!

And what conversations are you having and with who because that was not me. I have never once said you didn’t have to! You were the one saying it was too cold out to get to it! Each person that got the update was advised to reinstall. You are no exception my friend!

For god sakes...just do it already! I don’t want to hear about this Siberian winter you’re having that the rest aren’t...polar vortex sounds like a cop out to me, that $h|+ came and went a month ago. Get to it already before I tell them to send an update that implodes your vehicle dude. No more excuses! You have a remote start and a cold ass winter, sounds like you NEED to get this done, so find a mall parking structure and take some tools if it’s that cold. My offer to fly out there and do it for you already has now been changed to fly out there to provide a hand...a back hand Rob. I.Will.Do.It.Too.

Don’t expect consistency...that may just be an inadvertent coincidence with the re-do. Best is to resync but give it a shot like this and let us know how long it lasts and how consistent...I just didn’t want to introduce more variables into this picture than we needed. Meaning anything going forward is either signal/location related from the device, your phone, or both and/or mounting location. The latter of which can be remedied.

Just picked up one of these for my Manual. I am a bit late for winter unfortunately.

Hey guys, so earlier I posted a install video of the kit I got for the wife Highlander and I had been so impressed with the kit and Jimmy's customer service I ended up picking up a kit for my Tacoma along with the smartphone module. The smart phone module is awesome and came in handy many times when I needed to get into the truck to get something but didn't have the key on me. In case you don't know (which I didn't when I ordered it), you have the ability to not only start and stop the engine but lock and unlock the doors as well through the app. At least that's for the smart key kit I'm not sure about the other kits. If you are interested in the install and set up video I did it's here:

Jimmy is a great guy and will call you to further discuss any issues or questions with your order. Not many people/companies will actually get on the phone with you. I bought a plug-n-play unit for my dad’s 2016 Tacoma and was so impressed with the ease of installation and integration with the stock fob that I bought one for my wife’s Highlander as well. Both install and function completely up to exoectaions and it’s all 100% plug-n-play. Fully reversible too. The install will take you under 30 minutes. Thanks, Jimmy! I know my wife will love having the remote start and the kids will appreciate a warm car to get into on those cold days. Now only if there were a full 100% plug-n-play unit for my manual TRD Pro. Lol. I know this isn’t possible but I’m jealous of my wife and dad now.

Why isn't it possible to have 100% PnP on the MT? I realize there is the TPMS splice, but they could do a harness for that if they wanted right? I'm guessing they don't because it is just one wire and they want to keep cost down, but honestly I'd pay a bit extra not to have to cut into my factory wiring.

Got our branding...what a journey, thank you all! Now show your support!

    BE0DD771-0781-49C8-AC7A-A97224BB720A.jpg

Go to your App Store and download the app “Linkr LT”.

    A304A022-F7F1-4874-91D4-8BCDD61939D4.jpg

Once downloaded, use your exact same login credentials from your CL6 or Mycar app. Once logged in, click on the little arrow at the bottom.

    21CA4A18-0D91-43CF-9815-6473687B0498.jpg

Now click on the retailer info icon.

    10345AC3-8926-44BF-8F0D-309F1E5968A6.jpg

Now put in N2 Designs toll free number (833) 689-6462. Just type the numbers no need for parenthesis and dash, it’ll do it automatically. Then click “confirm”.

    7C3A49AB-B560-45FE-8894-35B36BAE3A35.jpg

Click “confirm” again on the second prompt and viola, all of N2 Design’s business info will be there should you ever need it, not to mention a much better looking skin. This can be your go to app going forward, don’t need to use CL6 or Mycar, but you also don’t need to delete them either if you like having a back up app but they all are the same. Just don’t have them both running at the same time although you theoretically can toggle between commands from both, I don’t recommend it.

Jimmy is great! He offered to install mine, but with LA traffic I decided not to. The instructions were great! For a first timer, it took me 20 minutes. @N2DesignsInc

I would love to order the app remote.... If you included the secret on keeping the engine running when you open the door and if the windows could roll down for our hot summers in LA. ANYWAYS THANKS JIMMY!
