I was refering to having a gun safe in line with the gas pedal next to the drivers leg in a compact truck. I personally have zero comfort issues with the seat in my truck.

Indeed! Anytime I haul anything I have to utilize a bungee cord or ratcheting strap to secure the load. The mat will be a game changer!

Its not that wide of a console. Im 5'10 and 180
It will hit your right leg when you have your foot on the gas pedal if opened, but it springs open and quickly accessible when the right leg is over next to the brake pedal. It's merely just moving the leg over a few inches. Its activated by using a RFID chip or a quick 4-6 digit pin.
I do understand where your coming from though. The Taco already has a small cockpit and adding this for some could intrude on some space.

Thx! My friend made it. Look closely, the chainring doubles up as a bottle opener (beer bottle preferred!) and theres a magnet to catch the caps.
    Frickin genius!

    Too many to list
    1. Customer service at King is top notch!

    2. Kings Lead times were quoted 3-4 weeks and I received them in 2

    3. The springs on the Kings are far more superior then what Icon is using. If the manufacturer of the springs are the same then King has there engineering on point.

    4. I purchased them through a shop in Orange JBM Sporttrucks 714-997-0400 and Paul hooked it up.

    5. Prices are comparable but overall I’ve had mostly bad experiences with Icon, I’ve gone to King twice now for questions in my install they walked me into the production shop and showed me how it all is put together.

If you go into King and want to speak with a salesman/customer service rep is talked to Dane. They will build a custom setup for you and give you the part #s to take to your shop of choice!

Here’s install pix from last night:

Anyone near Redding Calif. that has sliders with top plates ? I want to see how tough it is to get into the truck. Gonna buy some if they work even marginally like a set of steps.
I have RC DS steps now....
    Thanks
