What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thus is why I am thinking about moving my antenna to the front bumper. Limb deflector and if I can make it the same height as the camper a clearance checker. I never have figured out why they would make the cables illegal it just doesn’t make sense

It's probably a pedestrian safety thing? Maybe they're worried you'll decapitate someone when they roll off your hood

 

Nothing sexy or pic worthy, but I put some fresh blobs of Dielectric grease on the electrical connections under the hood.

 

I'm fairly sure that stuff is made out of boogers

 

The consistency does appear to be the same.

 

It's the same software that dealerships use. I've used it personally and it has alot features that allow you to alter your vehicle in a variety of manners. It's quite simple to use and you don't have to 'be good at software,' as @Mugshot89 so elegantly put. Yes, it will turn off the seat belt chime, but it does alot more and you can run diagnostics on your vehicle.

 

I have. Yes. I can drive ALL AROUND town without my seatbelt on, CHIME FREE.

side note: I always wear my seatbelt. I'm terrified not to.

 

Me too. I just hate it when it beeps constantly when you have keys in the ignition and the door open

Can also just unplug the connector for the seatbelt buckle switch under the drives seat. The passenger side is the opposite type of switch (I have no F*ing idea why), but you would have to use a tiny piece of wire to short that one out to make it think its closed all the time

 

An old CD jewel case cut to size works too. I have mine disabled though.

 

To be clear these are the center caps for the wheel. Not actually the hubs. My bad.

I’m interested in what you have installed in the other drop down compartment there. Looks like it may be compass/external temp display. If so I’d really love some details
