I love your content Max! Keep up the good work. I get bored of only Tacoma content as well, its nice to change things up. Plus I love camping and a huge nature lover as well and I love all your content with Carol and all the learning experiences you go through.

As the guy that started this thread; I too found Max's thread while running a search on using my trucks climb control. I don't really YouTube that much so not sure what people mean when they say Max's videos are crude or not that polished. They seem pretty damn well done to me....those drone shots are awesome man! I sure could not make anything that good. You know what they say "those who can't do judge" I know I know everyone has an opinion and everyone's opinions are just so damn important aren't they.. I'd be willing to bet that most people bashing his vids sure as shit wouldn't do it to his face. Max if you do come back to this thread keep doing what you are doing. Last I looked your channel had like close to 67,000 subscribers. I'd bet that those bashing your vids have never done anything that even 67 people have been interested in seeing. I'll continue to do my best to help you grow your channel. My old college roommate works at a Toyota manufacturing facility in Indiana and I'm sure several guys there might be interested in viewing your channel.

 

That’s the problem with the world and more so communication technogoly you don’t have to look at the person so diss on them you sit in the safety of your home and say what ever you feel how ever you feel. It goes back to what my grandma even said to me “ If you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all”. And thou everyone has there own oppinion sometimes it’s better for everyone to just keep them to yourself. I agree with you thou OP I enjoy Maxx’s Videos and am subscribed to his Youtube channel. But each to there own right?

Also very true! People lie either way. My big problem with today is people have no problem saying what they feel behind a screen where they don’t have to deal with what comes with it whether it’s crushing someone or there anger. People lie that’s never going to change but what drives me nuts is how people feel they can say whatever whenever if there is a screen as a forcefeild in front of them. They don’t have to see the person breaking down or being crushed by a comment that maybe didn’t need to be made.

Man i wish i had more time for TW you guys are ridiculous. Thanks for the love and the criticism. Its helpful all around. Ive always enjoyed making videos and love that i have the opportunity to share what i am up to regardless of whether or not people enjoy it. As far as "Selling out" I will agree i did and still do at times. Trust me its pretty hard not to with the way some of these companies shower you with stuff. For a normal dude a lot like you guys Its fun and was a way i could build the Tacoma of my dreams and it helped me create content. If i didnt have any other ideas that week i would do a product related video. I started all of this as a regular TW Member and always dreamed of building a DefconBrix style Tacoma. Ive never lied or tried to sell any one on a product that i thought was complete garbage and i have received tons of stuff that i choose to not even share because its crap or the company simply didnt line up with my values. Ive also always been open and honest about getting sponsorships i dont try to hide it like a lot of people in the industry. I just take what i can get and share it if i think its cool and think you guys would think its cool. I thought it would be fun to see just how far you could mod a Tacoma.

But at this stage i can see the damage it does to the channel and i feel like im past that stage in my Youtube career. Im always trying to hold my self accountable and trying to look back at each quarter to see if there is anywhere i could improve to make the whole experience of making Youtube videos more enjoyable and recently i decided that i am sick of working for all these companies and that i just want to get back to making the videos that i enjoy making. Ultimately that means less Tacoma videos which is what most people want to see, without sponsors and adds i simply dont have the money or the desire to build the truck further. I still have some cool mods left to install on it though not all of its sponsored. I haven't mentioned this anywhere else but i recently bought a +4.5 Long Travel Kit
(not sponsored)for it just to see if i can pull it off with some 37 inch tires.

 

Max been loving your videos lately with the falcon that’s super cool! Also glad to came on here for a minute I wanna say I really enjoyed your top 5 mods video! If people don’t like ur videos they don’t need to watch them. Me personally and lots others love them! Keep doing what your doing! People get jealous and jealously normally shows as anger! Thanks for the great content can’t wait to see more!
