    I know people make fun of guys who use gloves but fuck. Sometimes they’re nice. Hands were hurting pretty bad doing shrugs today. Gloves on and worlds better lol

    I think @Kerleyfries can bench 190. But he definitely can squat and deadlift more than you.

    But srs, gloves? Why do you want to have smooth hands? If your hands are your weak point, work them more...

    Cause when you use an impact or hammer or weld all day for work... your hands are already rough and hurt. Ever try to swing a sledge and your hands literally won’t let you grip it anymore? It sucks. Bad.

    The gloves in the gym really do help at times.

    Hey y'all just a reminder someone needs to hear; I've been working out religiously 4 years now and my raw total went from like 700lb to now around 1300 natty. It's a fight and there are ups and downs and I have had some shitty workouts this week (low energy, not feeling it), but remember:

    1) A lower energy workout is still way better than no workout
    2) If you've ever had an AMAZING workout session, you know they can come from out of nowhere, and everyday can be one of those days so that's exciting

    Diet goes up and down, pounds come and go, but above all else, BE CONSISTENT with your workouts. Everything else falls in line including getting your body where you want it.

    Also, if you are picturing your body where you want it in terms of muscle and physique and you aren't thinking in the long term (at least a year), you'll get unmotivated and give up before the gains really start.

    Idk what my deadlift is rn. I haven’t done anything heavy since December bc torn labrum. I know I can bench like 205rn though. Probably still pull in the high 3’s. My squat still strong though. Low 3’s.

    I really need to have the surgery, but I think I’m gonna wait until fall/winter and I’m done wrenching on the truck for a while.
