These things typically rust from the inside-out, so I would get a hammer and tap all around the frame. It should "ping". If it "thuds" you have a problem.

I would search around here, this has been discussed a lot. You will find tons of great information. Given the year, you are not eligible for the factory frame replacement, but there are options if you find yourself in a worst case scenario.

i am wondering if there is anybody here that has some sort of endoscope like a Dr. would stick down your throat to check your stomach out or what a plumber would use to scope out your main drain to check for tree roots penetrating? does that make sense  stick down the inside of the frame to check it all out?

You can get those pretty cheap. Even make ones for your phones.

looks interesting, anybody ever scope their inside frame out? 11ft would be relatively close from the rear, I suppose there are opening in the front or just stick through one of the access holes along the side, take a video and post up we can diagnose
group buy maybe cost a dollar or less? pass it along via mail or baton like? unless you want one to keep for yourself i dunno

I never have, I could imagine years of dirt piling up in there could mask the actual frame though.

As far as I can tell, the hammer method is pretty universally successful. Everyone has a hammer.

once the weather warms up a bit more here I am hitting the spray and wash and shoot that nozzle inside from the rear on both sides, see what mine has accumlated,i am assuming it will drain in the front, or should I spray from front let it drain out the rear? I will try to get a video of what comes out, but not definite

I think there are enough holes in the frame the water should drain out without a problem. Even the fully boxed portion on my frame has small holes and what I guess are alignment tabs (bent piece of one frame section that creates a hole at the bottom.

Or just drive around a little bit, it should drain.

I bought one of the $35 one off Amazon and it was a piece of shit. The focus on those cameras is done way too close so you will have to be within an inch or two of the frame surface to see anything in detail, otherwise it’s all blurry. You download an app on your phone to use it too and the app is shit and some Chinese malware type stuff lol.

Threw mine in the garbage. Would rather spend more money to get a better scope.
