4 wheel parts sold me used bilsteins!?

I know i know, they got a bad rep but i figured as long as i purchased product, and didn't have them install i would be fine. I purchased some billys from them, and they had some shipped from another location to me. Well i got what look like USED product. there's dirt in the threads, the black covers all all dirty and dinged up and there is blue sharpie markings on the struts...BITCHES! They are overnighting me another set free of charge.

ps - the only reason i bought from them is because they are right up the street, and they matched DSM's price..

 

weird thing man. i ordered stuff from them in the past and they've always been fine with me

 

Have you called/emailed them yet? I wanna know what they say...

 

"I didn't know they were used" was the explanation i got. The boxes they came in were even all tattered and torn. They are sending a new set overnight.

I purchased from a local 4 wheel parts store up the street, not online. They didn't have them in stock so they had another store ship them.

 

wait... do you have to send them the first set back? i'll buy em off of ya if you dont

 

yah im taking the first set back to the store tomorrow to exchange for the new ones... sorry dude

 

I seriously dont know how they stay in business. or more importantly, WHY, people still buy from them

same thing happend to me with another shop. i have an extra set that is new. (kinda) box was torn and the only thing in the plastic sealed bag was the spacer looking like thing. but i got to keep mines.

 

ok, so are you selling them as used then?

 

never put them on my truck so it could have been used or not dunno. but i can sell them at used price. how much are these going for used. just give me a fair deal and its yours.

 

i bought 4 kits, in the past and had this one installed by them and i have never had a problem with anything that they have done to this truck or the kits that i have purched from them.so there good with me until they do me wrong

 

although i didnt buy my products through them just had them install stuff for me guys are ok at the el cajon store in san diego havent had any probs with my install.
