Anybody have lift components for a 1991 4runner? I'm going to pick up another tonight for one of my daughters and want to start acquiring items to turn it into a mild offroad rig.

Yup, off my 2017. I'll give it to you for free since I planned on giving it away with the Nitto's anyways, just taking up space. Shoot me a PM and we'll work out the details.

I'm ignorant in the solar setup area, aside from the controller/panels, what all would I need/you recommend to run the setup on my truck?

Panel, controller, and wires. Wires from panel to controller, then wires from controller to your battery.

Would you be running it to an auxiliary battery or off of your stock battery?
I built my own independent battery box with a 100ah deep cycle, terminal connections, a volt meter, 1100 watt inverter, multiple USB and DC plugs to the exterior. Having everything fused would be ideal as well.
I run my camping fridge, shower, and tent lights off of it mostly.

Edit: and yes the wiring for both sides of the connection, Panel>Controller>Battery.

I'd most likely turn it into a aux battery setup. I've heard from @johntoyota that 3rd gens don't charge the aux battery properly thus it never reaches full charge, partly why I'm thinking of the solar

@EndlessOverland do you run a MPPT or PWM controller?

Its not that they dont charge an auxiliary battery well, its that they dont charge an AGM well. This will likely start a big debate, but our alternators only put out 13.6 volts. An AGM battery likes to be charged in the upper 14s like 14.6 or so. Currently, until I can get my solar set up done(hopefully in the next couple of weeks), I have to give my batteries a charge off a charger in order to keep them happy. Once I get the solar set up going, it will keep them at 14.6 as long as there is sun to be had. The 2nd gens were the same way, but with those you could do the fuse jump with the diode and get them to boost their voltage. These damn 3rd gens are too smart.

Maybe somebody can come up with a fix...?
