    Well, the adjuster looked at my daughter's truck. He left a message and wants to total it. Honestly I don't think there's that much damage and I think it's very repairable. So does the body shop. We'll see what the adjuster says when we talk to him. We're going to try to get as much as we can without totaling it and then have to pay for any additional.

    Total it, but it back and fix it. Then change insurance providers. Make sure they know this before hand and see how they handle it. I had a insurance provider (All State) fraud themselves totaling a car instead of fixing it. Good luck dealing with the insurance company.

    In CT, a salvage title has to be trailered to DMV headquarters for a full vehicle inspection. Any issue they find on the entire truck and it fails. It's a royal PIA. Easier not to have it totaled if I plan on fixing it.

    Went and test drove an old 03 taco after work. Was a grandpa grocery getter. Engine was as dirty as the bottom of my boots at 100k miles. He wanted 5600$ :jerkoff:
    Offered 3500$ no higher:wave:
    No sweat. Not going to get a third vehicle at a 1/4 of a new car at 15 years old.
