Is there another resource online that can help become more competent on dstar? I went to the main website and would like to supplement it.

    Thanks

Definitely yes on the yaesu. I have the 2900, 7800, and ft60. They are all great and user friendly.

I have two 2800's and had a FT60 until I lost it somewhere in the Mojave Desert. Yaesu is definitely a good
    company

I had a couple of TH231's, they were great no-bs radios. That one looks pristine.
Would also get a new Yaesu without hesitation. My first rig was an pair of Yaesu FT-301 HF rigs, out of 2 I cobbled together one and worked the world on it on 10, 15 & 40mtr novice bands. Other Yaesu's have all been good, less gadgety than others, I like easy to use.

I was at the local Ham Radio Outlet the other day and the sales rep estimated mid to late April.

Buddy ordered his 1/15 and got it last week. They are taking 6 weeks ish. Luckily I ordered when the sale first started and got it from giga in 48 hours.

    It’s worth the wait.

@Subway4X4 any interest in upgrading to general and joining us for field day this year? Might make a remote trip out of it to North Woods Maine. Would love to see that trailer in action too!
