I apologize for my ignorance, but I was looking for the wait list for this item and couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

I’m making a HOW TO video next week. Are you wanting to install a DIY kit?

Sorry, I do not do waiting lists. :/

I would definitely be in for a DIY if you offer all that is needed for those that already have the TRD PRO knob and want this mod.

That’s the plan! Hardest part is disassembling the PRO knob. But once that is over my stealth buttons drop right in and plug into the truck:)

Soooo made an attempt to pull it apart via reverse engineering of the photos on the website. No dice. I’ll just have to find some other cheap mod to scratch my itch for another week

Finally got around to installing the shift knob. Rather than fighting with running the wire all the way behind and up the charger. I ended up going under the charger and around and found a little gap and ran the wire through there.

It’s probably ass backwards but it was a lot easier and it works lol.

Thanks again to @mesojdm for another amazing product.

Maybe we can catch Mat on a coffee break. :)

@OVTune , would it be feasible to have it go to gearlock mode by simply moving shifter to S? And keep ECT functional in D? Either an update to gearlock tune or as a custom?

What I take from it nor have it attempted yet, no reason to, is that the main pieces shown apart are all held by double sided tape. A small pry tool and work your way from the bottom up gets the main larger portion off and the rest should be fairly simple to work off as well.

Just my observation and might be helpful for anyone wanted to try. I personally this is enough for me to attempt when need to.

Will the stock ect button still work with this mod or will it lose function?

The purpose is to get ride the original ECT button so you can use something else there. I don't believe you'll have two points of activation with this mod.

No it will not retain stock button. It replaces it to the shifter. Why would you want 2 buttons in the truck that did the same thing?

I can push multiple buttons on my wife that do the same thing. Don’t need that functionality on my Taco.
