    It almost covers all the basics. I need to get another shotgun, though. Sold my 870 a couple years ago and I regret it.

    Me too, that's why I don't have any more shotguns. I figured on getting a cheap semi-auto shotgun like a Mossberg 930 JM Pro or a Remington 1100. I prefer shooting pistols more than anything.

    We're looking to expand our arsenal for political reasons... currently own a cheap DPMS Panther AR in 5.56, and a Gen 3 Glock 19 9mm.

    I'd say you're good on the pistol, although I don't like my Glock lol. If you want to hit the next level build your own ar15 on the cheap or use high-end components to build a Gucci one. You should get a 1911 or DA/SA revolver or semi-auto to have a good sample of firearm types.

    Our next pistol might be an HK P2000 9mm, which is what the US Border Patrol uses.

    I hear those are fantastic guns. DA/SA is my preferred action type and a lot of people swear by H&K, my dad included. He was issued H&K when he was active and had a couple of USPs.

    Edit: I'm partial to Berettas and CZs

    It's a cool rifle, but piston systems aren't a significant improvement. Socom bought compete rifles, then only uppers and nowthey don't use 416s anymore because they're heavier with no real improvement over DI guns.

    Beautiful piece... saw something similar at Cablela's outfitted with a lot of little Magpul add-ons, tactical crane stock, and a Trijicon Acog scope. Sadly, it was only a display model to showcase the different accessories Cabela's had to offer.

    You're best bet is ordering online. There's deals on gear daily. I've got $1400 invested in that camo ar15, and nearly $700 was the optic and trigger only.

    Edit: the pistol was high-end lower parts, cheap upper (the opposite of what you want to do lol), the lower build was $600 and the upper complete was $150

    I have that on my CZ. I run a TLR-7 on my Glock 19 because it doesn't stick out past the muzzle
